The Bells in Blanco

Have you heard the church bells ringing across our small town?  They are coming from Trinity Lutheran’s Verdin Adagio II carillon system installed in 2019.

The carillon (digital bells) was purchased using memorial finds donated by our devoted members in memory of loved ones.  The carillon is meant to benefit our church and our beloved community of Blanco but, most of all, to praise God while honoring those we love.  On a typical week day, you will hear the “Westminster Quarters” at 9am, noon and 6pm, reminding the community to pray.  On Sunday, the bells play a role in our worship service, calling all to worship 30 minutes before our service, and a prelude as our pastor approaches the altar at the start of the service.

During distinct church seasons, such as Christmas and Lent, beloved carols and hymns play in remembrance of our Lord Jesus .   You will also hear our bells chime during weddings, funerals, and other church events/activities.
